The Black Association at Salk (BAS) affinity group hosts the annual Black In STEM event where outstanding scientists from across multiple disciplines come to Salk and highlight their background and groundbreaking research with the community. The invited speakers discuss their work and share how their lived experiences have shaped their personal and professional journeys, followed by an open Q&A. The event ends with a light reception and provides an opportunity for individuals to network and connect.
