Housing Information

When:
UCSD housing covers the nights of June 23, 24, 25, and 26.
Check in: June 23 (check in will take place at the Salk Institute)
Check out: June 27
*Housing is limited. It is first come first serve and cannot accommodate additional nights.

Who:
Registration housing packages only cover accommodations for the registered participant.

Where:
The UC San Diego housing provided for meeting participants is located at Sixth College (NTPLLN), within 15-minute walking distance from the Salk Institute. Walking map »

What is included:
Each participant be will receive their own single occupancy/private bedroom, within a suite apartment shared with several other people. All suites apartments are male only or female only. Each suite has 1-2 bathrooms, so they will possibly be shared by occupants in each suite. One (1) set of bed linens will be provided along with one (1) blanket, one (1) pillow, one (1) set of towels, one (1) disposable cup, and one (1) bar of soap. For multiple week conference programs, bundles will be refreshed weekly. Service includes once weekly cleaning of common areas and trash removal.

Parking:
Parking might be available at UCSD for an additional fee.

Lockouts:
UCSD charges anywhere from $20-$350 if you are locked out and they need to re-issue keys and/or key cards. Please be aware that this charge will the responsibility of the person staying in the room.

Driving Directions To The Salk Institute

From the North:
Use I-5 South
Exit Genesee Ave and turn right (heading West)
Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Road
Drive 1/8 mi, the Institute will be on your right

From the South:
Use I-5 North
Exit Genesee Ave and turn left (heading West)
Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Road
Drive 1/8 mi, the Institute will be on your right

Parking is available just west of the Institute on Torrey Pines Scenic Drive, in the gravel lot.
The reception area is located in the south wing.
The meeting will be in the Foyer, down the stairway.
